What is Beamfar?
Beamfar is website monitoring for agencies and freelancers who look after client sites. It checks each site from two regions and calls it down only when both regions agree. Every alert shows what each region saw and what changed just before: a DNS record, the certificate, a redirect or an SEO setting. It works from outside, on any stack, with nothing to install.
How does Beamfar decide that a site is down?
A site is down only when two regions agree. If one region sees a failure and the other does not, the site shows a regional issue and no alert is sent. Every alert lists what each region saw. A site with no valid measurement shows data unavailable and is never counted as up.
What does Beamfar watch besides uptime?
Page checks, TLS certificate replacement and expiry, DNS record changes, redirect targets and domain registration expiry. It also raises SEO-risk alerts when a page becomes noindex, when robots.txt starts blocking it or when its canonical moves to another host. Other headers, page content and undeclared sitemaps are not tracked yet.
How is Beamfar different from UptimeRobot and Site24x7?
UptimeRobot and Site24x7 are general monitors, and both are on sale today. Beamfar is built for agencies: a site is down only when two regions agree, each incident shows what changed just before, and each client gets a monthly report. If you only need a ping, UptimeRobot is the better fit. If you need servers and networks too, Site24x7 is. The comparison pages give the sources and the check date.
Does Beamfar work with WordPress, Shopify and Webflow sites?
Yes. Beamfar checks the public site from outside, so it needs no plugin and works on any stack, including WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Laravel, static and headless sites.
What does a client report or status page contain?
The monthly report is per client. Every number comes from a stored check, and gaps are shown as data unavailable instead of zero. You can print it to PDF and send it on. The public status page shows only confirmed incidents (two regions for page checks, the ping receiver for scheduled tasks). On the Agency and Agency Plus plans your own name, logo and accent colour go on both.
How does Beamfar send alerts?
By email on every plan, by Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, Google Chat, PagerDuty, Opsgenie or ntfy on every paid plan, and by signed webhook from the Team plan up. The newer channels were tested against each service’s documented formats, not yet against the services.
How much does Beamfar cost?
These prices exclude VAT; paid plans open soon and nothing can be bought yet. Solo is €19 a month (€190 a year) for 10 client sites, Team is €59 a month (€590 a year) for 40, Agency is €149 a month (€1490 a year) for 100, and Agency Plus is €249 a month (€2490 a year) for 200. Every paid plan checks every minute from every region, and Team and up can check every 30 seconds. A trial that ends without a paid plan moves to the Free plan, which costs nothing: one site, checked every 5 minutes. The prices may change before paid plans open. The 14-day trial needs no card.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. The person who manages billing cancels in the app, with no call or e-mail, and the plan ends at the close of the period you have paid for. Your sites, checks and history are kept, and you are told before anything would be deleted. The refund and cancellation notice is linked under the plans.
Is Beamfar available now?
It is new: the 14-day trial is free and needs no card, and paid plans open soon. There are no customers yet, so there are no testimonials, logos or uptime figures on this page. The legal pages are version 1, in force from 2 November 2026.
